Dr. Patrick Colletti was born and raised in Virginia City. He graduated with the honor distinction of valedictorian at Storey Count High School in 1965. He then pursued an undergraduate degree in Zoology at University of Nevada Reno and received the Fleischmann Scholarship. He started Medical School at University of Nevada School of Medicine and then went on to University of Iowa, College of Medicine on a U.S. Navy Medical Scholarship. He graduated with Honors in Pediatrics in 1975 and began his residency at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Oakland California until 1978. From 1978 to 1983, Dr. Pat completed his service in the U.S. Navy and was the Director of the Adolescent Clinic at Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital. It was at this time in 1983 when Dr. Colletti decided to open his own practice in the greater Northern Nevada area. He cared for children in our community more than 30 years until his retirement in 2019. Dr. Patrick Colletti enjoys sailing in the crystal blue waters of Lake Tahoe during his off times as well as getting out in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Seattle. Along with his passion for pediatric medicine, Dr. Colletti cares deeply about animal rights and environmental conservation.
